Attorney Paul C. Marthy was born and raised in the Capital District and has
deep roots throughout the area. He graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor
of Science Degree. Upon graduation, Mr. Marthy worked in the private sector, prior
to deciding to pursue a career in Law. He then attended the Albany Law School
of Union University, receiving a JD degree in 1991 and has gained extensive experience
in several diverse legal practice areas over the last ten years.
At the Breakell Law Firm, Mr. Marthy’s primary practice areas of concentration
are in Construction Law, Real Property and Commercial Transactions. A subject
of significant importance to him is the strategizing and preparation of legal
documents, which seek to implement a client’s goal or vision.
Mr. Marthy retains extensive experience in various aspects of Civil Litigation
including Contract disputes, Lien Foreclosures, Commercial Arbitration and Construction
Mediation, Arbitration and Litigation. In cooperation with other members of the
staff he has developed business successorship plans, negotiated business acquisitions
and formed and organized a variety of businesses as corporations or Limited Liability
entities.
Mr. Marthy considers one of his professional strengths as being tenacious in seeing
a problem through to its ultimate conclusion. He noted, “I also see my strength
in my dedication to providing quality services to our clients and my commitment
to obtaining the most favorable result possible.”
Since joining the Breakell Law Firm, Mr. Marthy has found that members of the
staff and the attorneys share a common goal of providing the highest degree of

Mr. Marthy has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1991. He is a member
of the American Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association.
